Registration & Refund Policy
Registration Fees
Lower Divisions (T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Single A): $225
Upper Divisions (AA, AAA, Majors, Intermediate, Juniors): $250
Additional Fees
Late Registration Fee: $75 (applies to all registrations after January 1; non-refundable)
Processing Fee: $3.00 (charged on all registrations; non-refundable)
League Cost Commitments
Villa Park Little League incurs significant costs before and during the season, including uniforms, insurance, equipment, field permits, and pre-season and ongoing field maintenance. Uniforms are typically ordered as early as November. Once incurred, these costs are non-recoverable.
Refund Policy
Refunds are based on the date written notice of withdrawal is received by the league, not the last date of participation.
Withdrawal On or Before January 10 (Before Tryouts)
Full refund of the registration fee, less the $3 processing fee and any applicable $75 late registration fee.
Withdrawal After January 10 (After Tryouts) and Before First Scheduled Game
A partial refund may be issued. Uniform costs, field maintenance costs, the late registration fee, and the processing fee are not refundable.
Withdrawal After First Scheduled Game
No refunds. If the league is able to fill the roster spot with a fully paid replacement player, a partial refund may be considered at the league’s discretion.
Non-Refundable Fees & Costs
Uniforms and hats, late registration fee, processing fee, player insurance, field maintenance and preparation costs, field permits, equipment purchases, and general league operating expenses.
Special Circumstances
At the discretion of the Board of Directors, partial refunds or future-season credits (excluding uniforms, field maintenance costs, late fee, and processing fee) may be considered for season-ending injury or illness, family relocation, military deployment, or league cancellation.
Refund Requests
Requests must be submitted in writing. Refunds are processed within 10–21 business days and issued to the original payment method when possible.
Conduct Policy
Players or families removed from the league due to violations of the Code of Conduct are not eligible for refunds.
League Cancellations & Uncontrollable Events
League-wide cancellations, shortened seasons, or individual game cancellations due to weather, public health emergencies, government restrictions, or other events beyond the league’s control do not guarantee refunds and will be handled at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
